A workshop where air becomes shape
AZTEC Inflatables is the brand under which AMBIENT DESIGN S.R.L. has been designing and fabricating, since 1998, custom inflatable structures, tensioned membranes and inflatable architecture — from engineering and fabrication to installation and set-up at events, in art and in commercial projects.
We are an integrated workshop: we control every stage, from idea and design to cutting, printing and assembly. This is where technical precision meets the expressiveness of shape — and the result is a structure that breathes, moves and embraces the space around it.
More than two decades of experience mean we have built practically everything: from arches and race tunnels to brand mascots, product replicas, promotional tents, artistic installations and planetariums. We have worked with over 300 clients from FMCG, media and industry.

The beginning
AZTEC Inflatables is born, under AMBIENT DESIGN S.R.L.

2000
The first line of games
We launch our first line of inflatable games.

2004
BOOMBOOMLAND & European standards
We open BOOMBOOMLAND, the first amusement park in Romania built exclusively from inflatable structures. That same year we become the first Romanian company to manufacture entertainment equipment compliant with European norms, ISCIR certified.

Three FESPA awards
We receive three FESPA awards, from the global federation of printing associations.
